Highly motivated earth scientist and geomechanics specialist with B.Eng., M.Eng., and Ph.D. in Geological Engineering, and over two decades of cross-disciplinary involvement across the petroleum (conventional and unconventional), geothermal, CCS/CCUS, and academic sectors. Founder of FERG Geosains Indonesia, with expertise spanning operator and service roles, technical consulting, research, and mentoring-across field practice professional training, and laboratory work in Indonesia and the U.S.A. Known for effectively communicating complex geological and engineering concepts to audiences from junior professionals to expert panels. Active research interest include rock mechanics, geomechanics, structural geology and tectonics, petrophysics, rock physics, and geological modelling- applied in carbon storage, petroleum, geothermal, mining, civil, and environmental engineering to support national programs and the energy transition.
